YOUR
FIVE
SENSES

Sight

Turn down your lights and light several candles. The more the better.

Sound

Music relaxes the mind. Put on your favourite music or try out your therapist's.

Scent

Fill the room with your favourite scent of a candle. Enjoy an even deeper sense of calm.

Taste

A glass of fresh water nearby will rehydrate you. Drop in a slice of lemon for a refreshing twist.

Touch

In the end, it's all about the touch. So lie back, relax and let your therapist renew you.

A MASSAGE TABLE IS NOT NECESSARY!

Contrary to popular belief in some parts of the world, a massage table is not necessary to experience an excellent massage. In fact, a portable massage table often hinders receiving an excellent massage as they are inevitably low quality, lightweight and unstable versions made for portability.

IT STARTED THAT WAY

It is commonly believed that massage originated around 5,000 years ago in China. Massage continues throughout the Far East today as a core element of good health and lifestyle. Tens of thousands of massages are carried out on the floor or on a mattress. We successfully provide massage styles from around the world, West to East, in this manner every day. If you already have and prefer to use a massage table, then of course please feel free to set it up.

HYGIENE

We believe a floor or bed performed massage can not only be better but also more hygienic! We thought long and hard about hygiene. In a spa, your therapist has the time (and staff and equipment) to properly clean and prepare the table between each massage treatment. When mobile it is a very different situation. The same applies to towels. That's why we ask you to provide your own. It's better for you and we prefer it that way.

MASSAGE SURFACE

Place a comfortable mat or cushioning on your floor or cover your bed with soft towels to provide warm and comfortable cushioning for your body. Lay out a comfortable pillow for your head or feet to rest on. Protect your bed, sheets and the surrounding area from oil. We recommend using old coverings as oil can stain.

WHAT WILL MY THERAPIST THINK?

Your therapist will be delighted to massage you in a well-prepared, serene, home massage room. Don't be shy, treat yourself and your therapist by spending a few minutes preparing your room in advance. We are sure you will enjoy the rewards of that little bit of effort throughout your massage session.
